
Pakistan & United Kingdom Trade Relations
Diplomatic forum organized an interactive session followed by a Dinner in the honor of British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi, Mr. John Tucknott on 7th January 2016 at PC Hotel Karachi.
Founder President Diplomatic Forum during his speech discussed the bilateral relations between Pakistan and United Kingdom including the Investment inflow of UK in Pakistan. He further added that there is a room for improving the Pakistan exports to UK and European countries after getting the status of GSP Plus.
British Deputy high commission in Karachi and Director Trade & Investment John A. Tucknott, MBE said that Pakistani textile good are liked more as compared with the goods produced by India and Bangladesh. The increased of 18% is witnessed in the trade volume in 2014 between Pakistan and UK. And Pakistani businessmen could increase the trade volume by using GSP plus. His Excellency also stated that prosperous Pakistan is a welcome step for British companies are working in Pakistan and more companies in sector like mining, oil and gas energy etc are willing to come to Pakistan due to positive and 100% profit polices for attracting foreign investors to Pakistan. He also appreciated Diplomatic Forum for promoting the investment opportunities in Pakistan and building a good positive image of the country.
