Bahrain plans to invest in Pakistan ~ Al-Heddi On 7th April 2017 at Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi

“The government and private sector of Bahrain are keen to enhance trade and investment with Pakistan and the recent meeting between the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the businessmen of Bahrain in Islamabad was very positive and fruitful.” This was stated by Mr. Yaser Isa Ajlan Al-Heddi, the new Consul General of Bahrain at a dinner hosted by Diplomatic Forum Socio Economic Foundation in his honor. The Bahraini diplomat further added that during his tenure in Karachi, he would play a supporting role through frequent interaction with the business community and that his Consulate will ensure that the businessmen are provided all diplomatic facilities. He advised the business community to accelerate their contacts and visits with their Bahraini counterparts. Mr Al-Heddi was all praises for the Consular staff who are eager to provide all facilitation. He said that it is important that new products are exported by Pakistan. He also disclosed that over 100,000 Pakistani citizens are based in Bahrain.
Mr. S M Muneer CEO TDAP in his speech highlighted the positive achievements of the present government and assured that TDAP and FPCCI will take the lead in organizing trade delegations to Bahrain in order to increase bilateral trade.
Prominent industrialists Rashid Ahmed Siddiqui, Farhan Hanif Jawad Amin Khan, and Majyd Aziz in their speeches welcomed the Bahraini diplomat and said that this is the opportune time to go for trade and investment with GCC countries. Engr Waseem Yaseen, Dr. Munawwar Hussain, Tariq Shadab of Asian Union Forum and Asif Haroon, Founder President Diplomatic Forum also said that they will promote Pakistan-Bahrain bilateral relationship through their organizations.
The dinner was attended by a large number of diplomats, businessmen, government officials and media. Mementos and bouquets were presented to Mr Al-Heddi, Mr. S M Muneer and senior officials of Bahrain Consulate General.
